Carolyn Davis, CMP is MPIGNY MVP Award Winner

San Diego, CA, February 10, 2009 announce that Carolyn Davis, CMP, was recognized by the Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals

International (MPI) as the chapter’s (MVP) for the 2008-2009 year. Carolyn, a subscriber member of the Greater New York MPI Chapter (MPIGNY) and a member of the San Diego Chapter(SDMPI) was selected as MPIGNY MVP based on her outstanding contributions to the Greater New York Chapter.

The MPIGNY MVP Program is a quarterly awards program that recognizes member contributions toMPIGNY. Its purpose is to identify and recognize individuals within the chapter who share a passion for the profession and spirit of community. The award celebrates enthusiasm, innovation, professionalism and volunteer spirit and recognizes the hard work and dedication of the chapter’s most committed members.

Carolyn has been involved with MPIGNY for 2 years and enjoys networking with New York meeting planners while currently serving on the chapter’s Marketing Committee. She feels that the time and energy she has spent supporting the chapter as a volunteer has been an extremely rewarding experience. Her advice to new members on getting the most out of his or her membership is, “Get involved as fast as you can and stay involved!”
